New call centre launched for health centre appointmentsMinister for Health Chris Fearne today attended the launch of a call centre for health centres at the Primary Health Care Department-Primary Health Care (Head Office).

Through this call centre appointments for all Health Centres in Gozo and Malta will centralised and appointments can be made for anywhere in one call.

“In recent years there has been considerable progress in all health centres, but one of the things we hear are complaints that calls to local health centres were unanswered when they phoned for an appointment. Now through this new service, our patients will be able to be better served,” said the Health Minister.

The Minister said that the call centre will be is operating daily from Monday to Sunday between 7am and 5pm and it is expected that around one thousand calls will be received each day.

All those wishing to use the call centre can do so by calling 21231231.
