Mgarr to Mgarr Vintage Motors Festival next month in Gozo

The Federazzjoni Maltija Vetturi Antiki (FMVA) will once again be organising Mgarr to Mgarr Vintage Motors Festival 2017 – its annual two-tier event for vintage, classic and military vehicles and this year it is taking place on Saturday and Sunday, the 11th and 12th of March.
This event will be the 9th of its kind and is being supported by the Ministry for Gozo and various Local Councils in both Malta and Gozo.
The Malta leg of this event will start on Saturday at 2.00pm in Mgarr, have a half-way halt in Wied iz-Zurrieq and will finish by the Selmun Palace in Mellieha at about 4.00pm.
The Gozo part of the Festival gets underway on Sunday morning at 10.00am from the Marsalforn car park, with a half-way halt at Dwejra upper car park and will finish at the Mgarr Yacht Marina, with the first vehicle due in around noon.
During the Vintage Motors Festival there will be shows at all the above-mentioned places as well as at Qala, Xaghra and Ghajnsielem in Gozo.
Members of the public are invited to see a wide range of beautiful classic and vintage machines dating from around the 1920s to the late 1970s.
