New local TV channel launched on Melita

Favourite Channel launchedFavourite Channel – a new local TV station – has been added exclusively to Melita’s channel line-up. Favourite Channel is a brand new privately-owned local TV station launching its broadcast schedule in early December.

Favourite Channel is available for free to all Melita subscribers on Melita digital TV channel 108, analogue channel 31 and reception frequency U30.

To update the channel list, Melita digital subscribers can tune in to any of the following stations for about ten seconds: E22, Smash TV, BBC World News, Euronews, CNN, Deutsche Welle or RTL II. The channel list will then update automatically.

Our record in promoting and providing the best local content remains strong and with the addition of Favourite Channel to our line-up, our subscribers can now enjoy 9 local TV stations at no additional cost. Melita’s reception package is now composed of 18 local, Italian and religious channels, whilst its Large and Extra Large packages reach a total of 56 and 97 high quality entertainment channels respectively.
