Miriam Christine releases new single & music video

Alone Today video stillMiriam Christine has just released ‘Alone Today,’ her new single which is also accompanied by a new music video.

Describing the single, Miriam Christine says “I have moved away from the style of my last album ‘Little Zee.’ This single does have an R&B influence, especially in the delivery of the vocals, but R&B is a very generic term nowadays. There is also a strong element of rock in the track. I like to experiment and explore different styles to fuse with R&B and I’m very happy with how the song turned out.”

The single was penned by Miriam Christine herself and produced by Kenny D’Ugo and David Calleja from Bee-hive Productions. Earlier this year, ‘Alone Today’ was the winner of the first edition of the Malta Hit Song Contest which was broadcast on One TV.

Miriam said, “we were very lucky to receive the support we did for this video. Carmel Bruno of Legwork Productions and Mark Warner of the agency Media Consulta Malta produced the video and Legwork Productions provided all production and post-production facilities, along with assistance from Insight Communications Agency. I would also like to thank Andrei Xuereb from Media Consulta for the background graphics, David and Alex from Cut Coiffeur (hair stylists), Justin Brincat (make-up artist), Joe Piscopo from Olimpus Music (musical instruments) and Lana, Laura and Rachel (models), Adrian Muscat Azzopardi (music coach for models), Lucyna Naruszewicz (set photographer)… and the rest of the crew who worked their socks off. As I said… we were very lucky.”

The new music video was officially launched on the local television programme ‘Allegria’ on One TV on Sunday.
