A good number of cyclists and motor cyclists assembled at the Marian Sanctuary of ta` Pinu to take part in a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace in Victoria. The Rev. Fr. Guardian Karm Dimech waited in front of the Sanctuary to say prayers and bless the participants at the end of the pilgrimage. He also presented mementoes to the participants.
Xaghra Local Council and the Classic Sports Cars Club organised a show of vintage cars in the Xaghra village square.
Gharb Local Council and the Pope John Paul II National Monument Committee organised a concert by the Willington School Boys’ Choir at the Gharb Basilica. The concert marked the 30th anniversary of the election of John Paul II and the second anniversary of the inauguration of a monument to him.

A re-enactment of the 210th anniversary of the French surrender in Gozo was held in Victoria. The event was spread over two days.
