Traditional Comino Feast: Festa ta’ Kemmuna dedicated to Saint MaryFesta ta' Kemmuna – Traditional Comino Feast dedicated to Saint Mary, will once again be celebrated in Comino, this year the celebrations will be held over 2 days, Friday and Saturday the 19th and 20th of August.

It was held for the first time last year after a 40 year break, in order to to revive the traditional feast of the Chapel of Santa Marija on Comino.Traditional Comino Feast: Festa ta’ Kemmuna dedicated to Saint MaryThe Feast is organised by Comino residents, the Ministry for Gozo, and the Ghajnsielem Local Council.

The Friday programme includes a traditional meal, whereas on Saturday there will be the arrival of the statue of our Lady by boat from Gozo, a procession to the Chapel of Santa Marija which will be followed by Holy Mass. Food stalls, decorations and band marches will complete the day.
