65 Lesser spotted catshark pups to be released next SaturdaySharklab-Malta has said that 65 Lesser spotted catshark pups are to be released as part of the recovery and release programme supported by the Malta National Aquarium.

This will bring the total amount of sharks released through the programme to 250.

The release is taking place next Saturday, the 16th of July, at South Quay, Cirkewwa, the sharks will arrive on site at 9.00am and shortly afterwards they will enter the water and be set free, where they belong.

If you would like to witness this amazing event, then come along and bring along your family and friends. South Quay is located to the left of the Malta/Gozo ferry terminal.
