Two British men were grievously injured following an accident in Comino on Thursday evening.
A pick-up truck, driven by a 23-year-old, had fallen from a height of about 10 feet and ended up on the jetty in the Blue Lagoon, Police said.
The medical team assisted by the Armed Forces of Malta arrived on site. Both driver and passenger were taken to Gozo General Hospital.
Investigations by the Gozo Police are ongoing.
Why should two British men be driving a vehicle on Comino?
No British or any other Foreigner be allowed to drive any vehicle in Comino, to me that is a serious offence and should be dealt promptly by the Malta police, , how did the vehicles got there in the first place and by who.? Gozo is part of our heritage environmentally protected.
I didn’t know Pick up trucks were allowed over there and if they do WHAT FOR ?
