‘L-Ingassa’ at Teatru Govanni Centru Parrokjali Xewkija

'L-Ingassa' at Teatru Govanni Centru Parrokjali Xewkija‘L-Ingassa’ is the latest production of the Ghaqda Drammatika Xewkija, a theatrical group within the village of Xewkija. Even though the Ghaqda Drammatika Xewkija produced quite a large number of productions, ‘L-Ingassa’ is the very first original production which was written and produced by the same Ghaqda.

‘L-Ingassa’ goes back to March 2008, when the Ghaqda came up with the idea to develop an original production. As weeks passed, this original piece of work became a reality and it was produced for the first time last Sunday the 2nd of November at Teatru Govanni Centru Parrokjali Xewkija.

Don Luciano, one of the most powerful mafia bosses of the 1970’s in Sicily, manages to get whatever he wants, yet his aim of raising another family’s son to become his successor fails miserably, thanks to some good work by the newly appointed Coronnel Antonio. How does he manage to stop Don Luciano?

‘L-Ingassa’ is a thriller with many loose ends which are tied up just at the end of this production. A love story continues to add to the spice. But who will fall in love? Don Luciano maybe? Does he have a heart to love? Will justice reign in this story? Or will the bad guys get away with it once again?

With first-class stage scenario, lights and sound (special thanks go to local artist Paul Falzon), these and many other questions were solved in the first show, last Sunday. Now it is up to you to solve these questions in the second show, this Saturday the 8th of November 2008 at 7.30pm at Teatru Govanni, Centru Parrokjali Xewkija.

79204674 or 79069730 are the mobile numbers which can be used to book a seat, or else you can buy your tickets just before the show starts. Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis.

Come and enjoy this unique drama production and you will not be disappointed.
