A reminder that there is still time to view the exhibition by the Gozo Visual and Performing Arts School students, which showcases some of the finest works of art ranging from contemporary portraits, landscapes, comic & digital art, sculptures, etchings and pyrography.
The exhibition documents the students' hard effort and is a way to celebrate some of their best works produced during their courses. The Minister for Gozo Dr. Anton Refalo, inaugurated the Annual Art Exhibition last Friday in the presence of Malta's Ambassador to UNESCO Mgr. Joe Vella Gauci, Chief of Staff of Education Mr. Noel Abela and Education Officer for Lifelong Learning, Ms. Mandy Mifsud.
During the opening evening, music, drama and dance students entertained the 500 strong audience with some impeccable performances held in the Ministry for Gozo courtyard before Ms. Mifsud and Dr. Anton Refalo addressed the attendees.
Dr. Refalo congratulated the coordinator of the VPA School Mr. Vince Caruana, officer in charge of the music department Ms. Joy Frendo and the educators for their professionality in facilitating the actualisation of the students' potentialities.
The Annual Art exhibition runs until the 26th of May. It is free and open to the public at the Ministry for Gozo exhibition hall. For more information please visit the Gozo Visual and Performing Arts School facebook page.
