Following the success of the Vocal Master Class workshops under the tutelage of Ms Miriam Gauci last week, Monday saw the start of the Educational Programme which will cater for Gozo College students and schools.
A fiery and highly animated String quartet from Spain called Galdos, entertained the Years 4, 5, and 6 of GC Nadur Primary students during a 45 minute session in the Nadur Primary school hall. The students enjoyed the show – Golden Sounds of the String – and the musical pieces that were performed. Galdos, without doubt, left with an excellent impression of the students, who had demonstrated such a good knowledge of music, and fully collaborated with the group when prompted and asked.
The Educational Programme is a Gaulitana: Festival of Music 2016 initiative in collaboration with the Gozo College and the project is fully funded by the education+ scheme within the Ministry for Education & Employment.
