On the occasion of Freedom Day celebrations, The Communist Party of Malta and Moviment Graffitti, in a joint statement have appealed to the Government to reform the neutrality clause in the Maltese Constitution, from one that bans entry of warships belonging to super powers, to one that prohibits entry of warships from all countries.
"This would render this clause more compatible with today's political situation," they said.
The Communist Party and Moviment Graffitti stated that they will continue working for a total ban of warships from visiting Maltese ports and for the strengthening of the Neutrality Clause in the Maltese Constitution.
