Festa ta’ Ferh: Feast of Joy at Gozo General Hospital on Sunday

On the initiative of a number of workers from the blood donation department, Out Patients and Health Promotion unit within the Gozo General Hospital, a day of activities has been organised on Sunday associated with Christmas, in order to encourage blood donations, – Feast of Joy.
The event is being organised for all employees of the hospital together with the general public.
The day's events will begin with a Pontifical Mass at 9.00am in the chapel of the hospital by Mgr. Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo, this will be broadcast live on TVM.
Following, there will be a programme of singing and playing of Christmas music at the hospital entrance, as well as around the wards. This will be accompanied by Father Christmas, who will distribute sweets and gifts to all patients throughout the hospital.
Staff and visitors to the hospital are encouraged to take the opportunity to donate blood between 8.00am and 1.00pm, for the priceless gift that is so needed. It is important that all those who wish to donate bring with them their identity card.
The event will take place on Sunday, the 20th of December, from 9.00am onwards.
