Victoria Primary receives an AED machine through Maratona bir-Roti 2015Gozo College Victoria Primary School was one of the beneficiaries of Maratona bir-Roti 2015 (Bicycle Marathon).

President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca presided over the ceremony where 40 AED Machines were given out to various entities.

AEDs (automated external defibrillators) are used in cases where complications related to the heart arise, before professional help arrives on the scene and can help save lives.

Students Karl Curmi and Maia Farrugia were present for the ceremony. They were accompanied by Christabel Attard teacher (left), Lelio Spiteri Head of School and Dorianne Portanier Mifsud, head of Hamrun boys' secondary.
