Students of Years 1 and 2 from Gharb Primary School, had the opportunity to get out of the classroom for a while and experience some different activities. Their first stop was a visit to Ta' Dbiegi Crafts Village.
There the students were able to enjoy hands-on activities at both the pottery workshop and Gozo Glass. They were also able to view the making of pottery objects.
Later, with the help of the Activity Teachers, they ascended Ta' Dbiegi Hill, which is the highest point in Gozo, at a height of about 931m above sea level.
The students said that they enjoyed the feeling of being "on top of Gozo," and in perfect weather, the wonderful panoramic view of Gozo's countryside and the northern part of Malta.
