Il-Hagar Museum, in Victoria, Gozo, will be hosting an exhibition of works by US based Gozitan artist Savio Mizzi.
In his watercolours Mizzi has a special affinity for water themes, especially fish, but he can work on any subject, unconfined by convention other than the canons of beauty. "I sketch all the time," he says. "You paint, you draw for the love of it!"
Savio Mizzi's works are sought by book publishers, magazines (Newsday and Dan's Papers, to mention just two) and movie promoters (including Star Trek, Rollerball and Superman posters).
Il-Hagar's exhibition of works by Savio Mizzi starts this coming Saturday, the 21st of November, running for a fortnight. Mr Mizzi himself will be in attendance this Saturday and Sunday between 11.00am and 12pm.
Il-Hagar Museum, St George's Square, Victoria, is open 9am to 5pm seven days a week and there is no entrance charge.
