Nadur_Boutique_Hotel_Gozo_inauguration.JPGParliamentary Secretary Ian Borg has taken part in the official opening of the ‘Quaint Boutique Hotel’ in Nadur Gozo.

During the inauguration Dr Borg explained that the opening of this boutique hotel in Nadur is expected to be the first of a chain of similar projects, with the opening of boutique hotels in Xewkija, Ghajnsielem and Sannat by the end of this year.

The Nadur hotel accommodates 12 rooms, while the other projects will add a further 47 to the new accommodation in Gozo. They are each located in the village core.

Dr Borg said that the advantage of this type of hotel is that it offers a unique opportunity to anyone who wants to experience the traditional Gozitan way of life, in accommodation that offers some unique features and the best comfort possible.

Ian Borg stated that the aim of the Government is to continue to create the right environment to encourage private investment. He also mentioned that through the use of EU funds several central village squares are being renovated in Gozo.

While congratulating the owners of this hotel, Dr Borg explained how these type of projects will further enhance the employment opportunities for Gozitans in Gozo as was promised by the Government. Above all, he said, projects of this kind will continue to attract more quality tourists to the island.
