Edward Scerri elected member of MAPSSS Committee for Gozo College

Edward Scerri, by profession an architect and civil engineer, will be representing the parents of students attending the Gozo College, after winning the seat allocated to the Gozo College on the Malta Association for Parents of Students attending State Schools (MAPSSS Committee).
In a comment made shortly after being informed of being elected, Mr Scerri stated that he will be doing the utmost to contribute to help the MAPSSS attain the objectives that it has been set up for.
Mr Scerri thanked all those parents who showed confidence in him by voting for him. He also expressed his gratitude to the other five parents who, together with him, came forward to contest the election.
Edward Scerri also thanked the hundreds of parents who participated in the election to choose their representative on the MAPSSS Committee as well as their representatives to sit on the school councils of the thirteen respective schools.
The elections for the school councils were this year held in all the schools within the Gozo College.
The first meeting of the MAPSSS Committee will be held tomorrow, Friday, the 6th of February. The Agenda includes an Overview of MAPSSS work in 2014, a definition of roles roles within the MAPSSS Committee as well as a discussion about forthcoming events.
