Following the great success of last year’s first edition of the NSTF Gozo Science Days, the National Student Travel Foundation (NSTF) is once again organising a second edition of this science outreach event, to take place in March.
The first edition saw more than two hundred students participating in this unique knowledge event. Over a thousand primary and secondary school students visited the 3-day science festival along with the organised activities.
The NSTF Gozo Science Days celebrates science and seeks to provide students with an opportunity to exhibit science experiments and become science communicators. Participating students will get an opportunity to explain their work and projects to the visiting public and students.
The NSTF Science Days showcase the work undertaken by students in a number of programmes organised by the Foundation. These programmes include the science art and photo contests, School Lab as well as other contests for young scientists.
Covering primary and secondary schools, the NSTF Science Days has now established itself as one of the main science outreach events in Malta and Gozo. A number of supporting events, including interactive learning sessions with foreign science communicators, make this activity a favourite amongst students.
Details about this year’s NSTF Science Days in Gozo will be announced shortly. More information will be on Facebook (NSTF or NSTF – Science), on Twitter (NSTF) or visit the website: http://www.nstfmalta.eu/
