Epic: A variety show in aid of Arka Foundation at the Astra TheatreThis Saturday, the Astra Theatre in Victoria will host a spectacular music show – Epic – which is being presented by The Power House, led by Melanie Zammit. The show is taking place in aid of the Arka Foundation in Ghajnsielem.

The Power House dance school is based in Victoria and offers tuition in various artistic disciplines, especially dancing.

The audience on Saturday will be able to experience the fruit of 18-months of planning and 9 months of intensive training with the students. The evening also celebrates the third anniversary since the start of this this performing arts school.

In Saturday night’s show there will be song and dance from famous musicals and the repertoire will be combining modern dance, classical, jazz, tap and Hip Hop as well as singing. The songs will include pieces by Queen, Little Mix, Sean Paul, Justin Timberlake, Paloma Faith and Sia.

The choreography and vocal arrangements by Melanie Zammit were all prepared specifically for this show. The evening will be divided into two acts and lasts about two hours.
