Hundreds of school children from across Gozo and Malta are visiting Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
All children will be given a booklet to follow and to make notes on their experiences, an apple, some honey, juice and water. This activity is being supported by ecoGozo within the Ministry for Gozo.
The Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo said that “we wanted make this a learning experience for children who visit Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem. Finding out about Maltese traditions, the traditional sweet taste of Christmas. Hands on experience with animals, and seeing local crafts. Children can experience all this by being closer to nature and the environment at the Nativity Village.”
Bethlehem f’Ghajnsielem is in its third week. Saturday it is animated between 4.30 and 8.30pm in the evening, while Sunday it is open between 2.30 and 7.30pm.
