MIA & Gozo Channel suspend all flights & ferries due to bad weather

A severe storm is currently crossing the Maltese Islands, causing complete disruption to travel, on the roads, by air and with Gozo Channel. Malta International Airport has advised that it has temporarily suspended all aircraft activity at the airport due to bad weather until further notice.
MIA said that it is committed to prioritising passenger safety and will also make sure to keep the public and press informed of any updates.
Passengers are advised to check for flight updates on www.maltairport.com or to contact their airline.
Malta International Airport apologised to passengers for any inconvenience caused.
Gozo Channel has also advised that the ferry service has been suspended owing to adverse weather conditions. For further information please call 22109000.
