The organisers of the Sannat Motorfest, taking place this Sunday in Sannat Square, said that they have been overwhelmed by the response from exhibitors who want to take part in this year’s Festival.
The event, which is organised by the Sannat Local Council, takes place to raise funds for Puttinu Cares, “whilst also attempting to bring together the motoring fanatics on the islands.”
The Festival is in its 3rd edition this year and gets underway from 9.00am onwards. it is open to all types of cars, trucks and motorbikes. Groups/Clubs may reserve the last few places remaining by contacting through the facebook page.
The Motorfest has been a great success ever since the first edition, with participation from Maltese and Gozitan ‘motorheads’ quite high!
The Council said that this year looks like it will turn out to be the largest edition yet, with even more types of vehicles from different parts of the islands due to be present at the event.
Below is a 3-minute video clip produced entirely by volunteers, with the participation of around 20 vehicles, filmed in Mgarr, Xewkija and Ghajnsielem.
