Art activity for school students at the Villa Rundle Gardens, VictoriaArt students from the Bishop’s Conservatory Secondary School in Victoria, Gozo, had the opportunity to attend a series of on-site sketching and drawing sessions organised by their art teacher.

‘Nature and the Built Environment’ were the basis on which the sessions developed and students took charcoal as a medium for their drawings.

The art sessions were held at the Villa Rundle Gardens and in a number of the characteristically narrow streets of Victoria.

Great use of a fantastic facility and with a little imagination the gardens could host many of the events soon to be homeless because of the refurbishment of the area in and around Independence Square. Being town centre, Villa Rundle Gardens is ideally situated for the non-commercial activity which brings together the community.
