Visiting hours in hospitals during Thursday's voting for the EP ElectionsThe following arrangements are being made for visiting hours in hospitals during the forthcoming European Parliament Elections.

On Thursday, the 22nd of May 2014:

• Gozo General Hospital will retain normal visiting hours (11.30-12.00, 15.30-17.30 and 19.30-20.30).

• Mater Dei Hospital will retain the normal visiting hours (12.00-12.30, 15.45-17.30 and 19.30-20.00);

• Rehab Hospital Karen Grech will restrict visiting hours to two hours from 18.00 till 20.00;

• Mount Carmel Hospital will restrict visiting hours to one hour from 19.00 till 20.00;

In the case of Boffa Hospital, where patients will be voting in their respective towns and villages on Saturday 24th May 2014, normal visiting hours will be retained (11.30-12.00, 15.30-17.30 and 19.30-20.00). All other hospitals will also retain their normal visiting hours on Saturday.

In special circumstances where patients are in critical condition, permits are to be issued in advance by the Electoral Subcommittee on the advice of the Hospital Administrative Coordinator.
