The Gozo University Group said today that it is “proud to have pulled off the third edition of the annual event Gozo Week at the Msida Campus of the University of Malta.”
Held between the 10th and 14th of this month, GUG said that this initiative served to celebrate the Gozitan culture and identity and evoke a sense of awareness and pride among students and lecturers, both Gozitan and otherwise.
Stands put up at the University Quadrangle showcased local aspects from artisan products to authentic cuisine, while representatives from sponsors Agenzija Zghazagh and BOV accompanied GUG to provide information about various opportunities available for students and University.
Throughout the five days of Gozo Week, the executive members of GUG said that they enjoyed the presence of several distinguished guests, including MEP candidates such as Roberta Metsola, who attended the closing of the event on Campus.
“The organisation is looking forward to future ventures as well as further editions of the now-renowned Gozo Week,” the Gozo University Group concluded.
