'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' in aid of Puttinu CaresThe Helping Hands Group is presenting the Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ at the Don Bosco Oratory in Victoria, Gozo, in Aid of Puttinu Cares.

The Helping Hands Group, which this year celebrates the 17th anniversary since its establishment, has over the years presented a number of well known shows, including “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Les Miserables,” Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “The Best of Musicals,” “The Scarlet Pimpernel,” “A Night With The Musicals,” and “LesMisSaigonGuerre,” among others.

A live orchestra playing authentic West End arrangements, will be directed by Mro. Joseph Grech.

This production will include the participation of Ludwig Galea, as Joseph, Pamela Bezzina, in the part of the narrator, Roger Tirazona, a Live Orchestra and an 80-strong children’s chorus, one of the largest choirs that has ever been seen on stage.

For the above production, rights have been granted from The Really Useful and Group – London and authentic West End London Orchestra arrangements have been hired for this production.

As usual, the proceeds from the production will to charity, which this year is Puttinu Cares.

Performances of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ are taking place on Saturday and Sunday, the 29th and 30th of March 2014 at 7.30 pm and 2.30pm respectively.
