Gozo International Celebration for Christmas - ‘The Word was made Flesh’The 24th edition of the annual international celebration for Christmas is being held at St Joseph Parish Church, Qala, on Sunday, the 15th of December.

This ecumenical, socio-cultural event, ‘Gozo International Celebration – Christmas Edition 2013,’ is marking the theme for this year with, ‘The Word was made Flesh.’

The celebration will take place between 6.30 and 8.00pm and is a welcoming occasion for all foreign nationals residing in, or visiting Gozo and all are warmly invited to attend.

The evening will include the participation of the University of Malta Junior College Orchestra, Magnificat Choir, Sopranos Corinne Borg, Rosabelle Pavia Patricia Buttigieg and Roxana Xuereb, along with pianist Matthew Tabone, as well as renowned Maltese artist Anthony Patrick Vella.

The Horace Mercieca Award will be bestowed for the sixth time.

The evening will conclude with a reception at the Bishop Mikiel F. Buttigieg Hall, 28 April 1688 Street in Qala.
