The Gozo Business Chamber was unanimously accepted as an ordinary member of the Network of the Insular Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the European Union, known as ‘Insuleur’, during the network?s general assembly meeting on the 22nd of September.
The Gozo Business Chamber was previously an associate member of Insuleur. As an ordinary member, it now enjoys full voting rights, and its president is a member of the board of directors.
The president of the Gozo Business Chamber was also elected to the post of secretary general of the board of directors.
At the general assembly it was also decided to hold next year?s general assembly and forum in Gozo.
Insuleur is made up of European Union Island Chambers of Commerce from Spain, France, Greece, Italy, the United Kingdom and Malta.
