Malta has presented a gift to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, to mark the christening of Prince George.
Crafted by Victor Azzopardi Jewellers, the custom-made Maltese silver gift consists of four pieces – an egg cup and saucer, a teaspoon and a tumbler. Each item has the eight-pointed Maltese cross engraved on it.
Prince George was christened today at St James’s Palace in London.
The gift was sent by the Prime Minister and Mrs Muscat on behalf of the government and people of Malta.
