A commemorative event is taking place on the occasion of ‘Jum Ghawdex’ and will be held at Independence Square, Victoria, on Monday, the 28th of October.

The programme, which has been coordinated by the National and Regional Celebrations Committee in conjunction with the Office of Culture within the Ministry for Gozo, will include activities for school children, a Pontifical High Mass and a wreath laying ceremony at the monument of the Archpriest Saver Cassar.
There will also be a commemorative concert with the Victory Band of Xaghra and the Santa Margerita Band of Sannat starting at 7.00pm in Independence Square.
