Following the publication of the Pre-Budget document for 2014, the Government is holding a number of public consultations, including one in Gozo on Tuesday, the 17th of September.
The Gozo University Group will be attending this pre-budget consultation and would like Gozitan students’ opinions on the part of the document that concerns plans for the island of Gozo.
GUG said that “the best way for it to represent Gozitan students is by making your voice heard.”
“With regard to Malta’s sister island Gozo, this Government aims to create sustainable, good quality and productive jobs in Gozo through the creation of a conducive socio-economic environment while at the same time protecting the inherent and distinctive natural features that distinguish the island,” GUG said.
“The Government also intends to create the right environment for the attraction of productive investment to Gozo through special incentives, which include start-up tax credits to new business. It will work with all stakeholders for the creation of sustainable employment growth by o!ering fiscal incentives to business for the creation of jobs in Gozo including a refund on wages for every new job created.” the Gozo University Group concluded.
GUG can be contacted by email on email@example.com or by a message on their facebook page.
