Car Free Day activities in Victoria and Marsalforn on Sunday

The Don Bosco Oratory Youth Committee in Victoria has, for the third consecutive year, had its proposal accepted by the Malta Environment and Planning Authority to organise Car-Free Day events.
The activities, which range from street football to a photo treasure hunt with bicycles, will be based in Victoria and Marsalforn next Sunday from 9.00am to 7.00pm.
In Victoria, a street Football Tournament will be held in St Augustine’s Square between 9.00am and 12.00pm. There will also be a Photo and Painting Exhibition in Vajringa Street at the same time. An electric car will be on display in St Augustine’s Square between 9.00am and 12.00pm. A Photo Treasure Hunt on Bicycles will depart from St Augustine’s Square at 11.00am. Seed Planting for Children will take place in Triq San Gwann Bosco between 11.00am and 12.00pm.
In the afternoon there will be Water Games in Upper Reppublic Street which will get underway at 2pm until 4.00pm.
In Marsalforn there will be a Street Variety Show in Marina Street Promenade, from 4.30pm to 6.00pm, including dancing and singing. A trackless Fun Train will depart from Marina Street, every hour from 3.00pm to 7.000pm, which will tour around Marsalforn and Qbajjar.
