EP Malta to discuss Online Gambling in the internal market

The European Parliament is set to adopt a Resolution on Online Gambling in the September Plenary.
Online Gambling in Malta started from one company in 2000 to more than 300 licenced operators employing more than 4000 people in 2013.
MEPs will be voting a resolution on online gambling on the 10th of September. The European Parliament Office in Malta will be discussing this resolution with the industry and MEPs on the 20th of September in Valletta, from 10.00am till 12.30pm.
The programme will include an expert overview of the EP’s position, a panel debate with the industry and interventions by MEPs.
