CHARITY fund raising event for all the family at Ramla fields‘CHARITY’ is a special event orgnised by a team of Gozitan volunteers, who have joined forces to bring together an eventful fund raising, in which they say, “the whole family will be able to have fun!”

Different entities and NGOs as well as sponsors have contributed to this event. Many people have given their time to help and now it’s the general public’s turn to help out, just by attending, having fun and donating to the worthy causes.

‘CHARITY’ will take place this coming Friday, the 23rd of August, from 4.00pm onwards, at the rustic corners of Ramla, where, the organisers said, those attending are welcome to go early to set-up camp if they wish to do so. “Please take note camping is not allowed on the beach.” During the event there’ll be a bar, food stalls, shanti stalls as well as toilets and bins for everyones convenience.

The event will get underway late afternoon with some jamming and yoga sessions, as well as other fun activities and then the stage will be open for the live music, including: Ire Flow – A Maltese Ska band as well as numerous top Gozitan talents including: The Divine Sinners, Beyond Return, Charlene Rae and Band, The Run and Inside Plan.

The Main organisers of ‘CHARITY’ are – GUG – Full Moon – Why Not? Official Voluntary Office Malta, Youth for Mission and Jesus is Thy Neighbour Movement.

The organisers are raising money for projects undertaken by the Official Voluntary Office Malta, Jesus is Thy Neighbour Movement and Father Joe Camilleri for projects in Guatemala.
