The 20th edition of the NadurAgricultural Show was inaugurated at Dun Martin Camilleri Square on Saturday and closed on Sunday morning by the Mayor of Nadur Mr Charles Said.
Exhibits included agricultural products, animals, antique agricultural and fishing machinery, local crafts, traditional Gozitan food and home-made wine tasting.
All the exhibits were presented in a traditional setting using local carts which were artistically decorated by artist James Azzopardi with the various products brought by the Nadur farmers.
On Sunday morning the event started at 8:30am with Nadur Primary School, the Aurora Folk Group and a band march by the Mnarja Band. The Archpriest Mons Jimmy Xerri blessed the farm animals and pets while Mayor Charles Said gave mementoes to all the 162 exhibitors who participated this year with their products.
