A Sannat man lost his life when he was gored by a bull at about 4 p.m. yesterday. The man, aged 58, was gored when he was tending a herd of cows in a field in Triq l-Ghaxra ta’ Ottubru. The victim’s brother was in the field at the time of the incident.
The man was taken to Gozo’s General Hospital where an autopsy will be carried out today.
The police are investigating and Duty Magistrate Paul Coppini has appointed several experts to assist in the inquiry.
