The Astra Theatre in Victoria is to host an international troupe of music students who are to perform the Mozart opera ‘Cosi fan Tutte.’ The performance will take place this coming Thursday, the 9th of May.
Mozart’s ‘Così fan Tutte’ takes place in Naples during the late 18th century and is one of his most popular operas. This performance on Thursday evening promises to be a wonderful opportunity for all those who enjoy opera, or perhaps have never been able to experience a performance of opera before.
The production is being organised by the European IP Project Phoenix, a multimedia Renaissance, which involves musical and artistic entities in the project from Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia and Turkey. The University of Malta also has an active part in this event.
This night at the opera is FREE, however, patrons will be able to make a donation at the entrance to the theatre. The performance starts 7.30pm.
