Inauguration of three exhibitions in Victoria this weekend

Three exhibitions are being inaugurated this weekend as part of the 7th edition of Lejlet Lapsi Notte Gozitana 2013 programme.
On Friday evening the inauguration took place of, ‘duke of edinburgh room 36’ – a contemporary art exhibition with the participation of artists Adrian Abela, Mario Abela, Victor Agius, George Mario Attard, Maxine Attard, Karen Caruana, Justin Falzon, Jimmy Grima, Teresa Sciberras and Ritti Tacsum and coordinated by Austin Camilleri. This is taking place at the Culture & Identity Resource Centre – Sentinella Hall, Triq il-Foss, Gozo Citadel.On Saturday evening two exhibitions are being inaugurated in Victoria, ‘L-Arti fl-Insig’ – an exhibition on the local craft of weaving, which is being held at Il-Hagar Museum in St.George’s Square, Victoria.
The other exhibition is of paintings by Prof.Giuseppe Briffa at the Banca Giuratale Foyer, Independence Square, Victoria. These are being exhibited with the courtesy of Ta’ Pinu Basilica.
This seventh edition of Lejlet Lapsi Notte Gozitana 2013 is taking place next weekend, between Friday, the 10th and Sunday, the 12th of May.
