Din l-Art Hewla tour of five of the properties under its care

Din l-Art Helwa is organising a tour of some of the properties under its care. The sites being visited are the Red Tower in Mellieha, the Wignacourt Tower in St Paul’s Bay and the Msida Bastion Garden of Rest in Floriana where there will stop for tea or coffee.
The tour will then proceed to BirMiftuh Chapel in Gudja and Mamo Tower in Marsascala. The tour begins at 1pm sharp at the parking area next to the Corinthia Palace Hotel, Attard and will conclude at this same site, at around 6.30pm.
The tour is taking place on Sunday the 7th of April
Places for the tour are limited, the price is €20 for non-members and €17 for members of Din l-Art Helwa. Those interested can book by phoning the Din l-Art Helwa offices on 21225952 or 21220358 between 9am and 12 noon.
Price includes transport, visits to the above Din l-Art Helwa properties and tea or coffee with cakes and biscuits.
While at the Msida Bastion Garden of rest, plants grown in the garden will be on sale.
There will also be the opportunity to purchase Spring plants from the Msida Bastion Garden Plant Sale and contribute to saving Malta’s heritage.
Din l-Art Helwa is organising the plant sale at the Msida Bastion Historic Garden on Saturday, the 6th and Sunday, the 7th of April from 9.30am to 1.00pm. Plants for pots and window boxes will include Petunias, snap dragon and Nigella, while Larger plants for the garden comprise Cape Ivy, Lantana, Plumbago, Canna lilies, Lavender and Yukka. All will be on offer at very competitive prices.
The Msida Bastion Historic Garden is reached by taking the first turning left off Great Siege Road before the Excelsior Hotel then downhill and past the public library.
