The Armed Forces of Malta resumed their search for a missing French diving instructor early this morning. The diver, 44-year-old Alain Bollini, failed to return from a cave dive yesterday evening.
Last nights search efforts had to be called off due rough seas caused by the prevailing strong winds and also the fading light as darkness fell.
The AFM are currently deploying a helicopter and two patrol boats with divers, civilian divers are also assisting with the search. The continuing strong winds are still causing difficulties with the search operation.
