Kinnie supports the Voices 2008 Concert

Kinnie supports Voices 2008 ConcertKinnie is extending its support to Voices popular concerts for the eighth consecutive time. Themed “Tell Me Why,” the concerts are being held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta on the 1st to the 5th, and the 9th to the 13th of October.

To date the 200-strong choir has distributed €1,000,000 in cash to beneficiaries and half of this year’s proceeds will be going towards Caritas’ new Learning Centre at San Blas. The Learning Centre will assist rehabilitated drug dependent adolescents to re-enter society. It will be used to teach life-skills, basic literacy skills, subjects up to ‘O’ level standard as well as computer skills, drama and music lessons.

“Kinnie is extending this vote of support to the Voices bi-annual concerts because we want to contribute towards the improvement of Maltese society and, at the same time, we also believe in the worthy causes selected by Voices. This is not only a gifted choir that attracts large audiences but their concerts have become a national fund raising event,” said Lara Micallef, Kinnie Brand Executive at Simonds Farsons Cisk plc.

In addition to sponsoring Voices, this year Kinnie is launching two special promotions. With every purchase of one pack of Kinnie, or Diet Kinnie or Kinnie Zest 1.5 litre, consumers will receive a voucher that entitles them to a 15% discount on Voices tickets. Kinnie is also giving away 3 pairs of tickets in an online competition. Internet users can log on to www.kinnie.com and answer the simple question on the competition page. The online competition closes tomorrow, Friday, 19 September.

Booking is open and tickets can be obtained from the Mediterranean Conference Centre, from Mondays to Saturdays between 9.00am and 1.00pm and between 4.00pm and 7.30pm.
