The 6th Delicata Wine Festival 2008 at Nadur

The annual Delicata Classic Wine Festival will once again be held in Nadur. This year the event is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of August.

There will be a choice of over twenty wines of Malta and Gozo on the evenings, and their will be a charge of €10.00 for a souvenir glass. The wine for the rest of the evening will then be free, the cost also includes the entrance fee. If entrance only is required then the charge is €2.00.

Food stalls with international cusine will be available, along with live entertainment each night. The evening festivities open at 7.00pm. The souvenir glasses will be sold until 11.00pm, the last wine served at 11.30pm and the Festival closes at midnight. The organisers have advised that no glasses or alcohol will be served to any person under the age of 16.

A shuttle bus service will be available between Mgarr harbour and Nadur on all three evenings of the event, and the charge will be €3.50 per person return.

The festival sponsors are Nadur Local Council, GO, Allevents and Island Caterers Ltd.
