Gozo News is launching a new free classifieds ads section as an added feature for our readers. Our readers may now place a free ad or event notice by simply registering for the service. Please note that only ads which relate directly to Gozo or Malta are allowed.
To place an ad you need to register by following the Register link in the menu on the classifieds page – you will then be sent a confirmation email with a link to activate your account.
You may then log in and place your ad/s. Once logged in you will see a link to your user control panel which provides a number of additional useful features.
The following features can be accessed from the user control panel:
- Active ads – clicking this link will give a full listing of your currently active ads.
- Expired ads – clicking this link will give a full listing of your ads which have expired.
- Account information – clicking this link will give access to the details of your account.
- Place a new ad – clicking this link will take you to the form for placing another ad.
- My ad filters – clicking this link will enable you to set up email notification any type of new ads which are of interest to you.
- My favourites – clicking this link will give access to any ads you may have added to your favourites.
- Private message system – clicking this link will give access to the private messaging system.
- Private messaging configuration – clicking this link will give you access to the configuration of your private messaging preferences.
The messaging system is set by default to completely private communication, this ensures that your email address is kept totally private. You will receive an email for every communication through the ad as well as the same message through the communication system.
If you wish to keep your email totally private you may respond through the provided private communication system. You may also respond directly to the email which is sent to you, but your email will then be visible to the buyer.
