A 40-year-old man was yesterday arrested after a number of Cannabis plants were found in his residence in Munxar, the police said yesterday.
Following a number of days of surveillance, the Police Anti-Drug Squad carried out a raid on the house and four cannabis plants were found growing in the garden.
The police said that ecstasy pills and a small amount of cannabis resin were also found during the raid.
Duty Magistrate Dr J. Coppini appointed various experts to help assist in the inquiry.
Investigations by the Police Anti-drug Squad are continuing.
