BOV named Official Bank of the Malta Institute of Management

BOV-MIM Agreement
Bank of Valletta has been named main supporting partner and official bank of the Malta Institute of Management (MIM), following the singing of a collaboration agreement between the two parties covering a period of three years.

The agreement was signed by Igino Xuereb, Chief Officer Operations at Bank of Valletta and Lawrence Mizzi, President of the Malta Institute of Management.

During the signing, Mr Xuereb said, “Bank of Valletta is proud to announce its association with the Malta Institute of Management. We are delighted to be recognised as the main supporting partner and the official bank of this Institute which is considered as the main management development and management education organisation in Malta.” Mr. Xuereb said that the agreement signed between BOV and the MIM was mutually beneficial and the two organisations would be assisting each other in areas where each has expertise. “We also see this agreement as a means through which Bank of Valletta is continuing to support business education in our country,” concluded Mr. Xuereb.

In thanking Bank of Valletta for its support Mr. Mizzi said, “We are pleased to partner with Bank of Valletta for this agreement that will see both organisations collaborate closely for the next three years. This agreement provides the ideal opportunity to strengthen the good relationship that exists between the two organisations and we are looking forward to working closely with BOV on the various business management educational activities “.

Founded in 1964, the Malta Institute of Management (MIM) is a non-political, non-negotiating and non-profit making professional body for persons in Malta concerned with and involved in management. MIM runs a wide range of management education and training programmes at different academic levels and of varying duration. MIM is an active member in the European Management Association (EMA) which currently includes 20 European Management Institutes as members, and an academic member of the Conference Board Europe. MIM also represents the management profession in Malta in a number of constituted bodies and fora in Malta.
