Gozo Discovery Bus to start three week trial

A new ‘Gozo Discovery Bus’ service is to commence a three week trial starting tomorrow, Monday the 14th of July. The new service is intended for the use of both tourists and local people.
The Discovery Bus will leave Victoria’s Sabina Square every two hours, between 9.30am and 5.30pm, and will take the following route: Leaving from Victoria, and calling at Mgarr Harbour, Nadur, Ramla Bay, Ggantija Temples, Marsalforn Bay, Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary, Dwejra Inland Sea, Ta’ Dbiegi Crafts Village, Xlendi Bay and finally returning to Victoria.
The Discovery Bus will be identified by a ‘Gozo Discovery Bus’ sign displayed on the front and the rear. Flyers with information on the Gozo Discovery Bus and the schedule will be available from hotels, on the Gozo Ferry and in other places frequented by tourists in both Gozo and Malta.
This new service forms part of an EU project aimed at creating a standard for Sustainable Tourism in the Mediterranean. The project is funded by the EU as part of the Interreg III B Archimed Programme.
