Tomorrow, Wednesday 18th June, the European Parliament Petitions’ Committee will be dealing with five complaints lodged separately by two Maltese nationals, an Irishman, a Dutchman and the the Federated Association of Travel and Tourism Agents (FATTA), on the Commission’s delay in acting on a complaint against the Maltese departure tax.
Arnold Cassola, Alternattiva Demokratika – The Green Party Chairperson, augurs that the European Parliament Petitions’ Committee, which includes Maltese MEP Simon Busuttil, recommends the immediate lifting of this unjust tax on residents in Malta as opposed to the Maltese Government’s decision to eliminate this tax only from next November.

We are from the nice country of the Netherlands, what does the Maltese government thinks he is playing at? Or are they trying to stop more Eu subsidies into the much needed Malta..Think again and act pronto my friends.Malta is the only country in europe that drains its people out of every cent they can get out of them. come on grow up and look elsewhere for taxes!
