125th Anniversary of the Calling of Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu

This coming Sunday, the 22nd of June, is the 125th anniversary of the calling of Our Lady of Ta Pinu. By a decree issued by the Episcopal Conference of Malta, in all churches of the Maltese and Gozo Dioceses, there shall be a celebration of this anniversary.
The Programme for the day at The Ta Pinu Sanctuary is as follows:
Mass Celebrations in the Morning will be at 6.15am and 8.30am.
10.10am is the time at which Carmela Grima heard the voice of Our Lady from the painting. Prayer recital to Our Lady of Ta’ Pinu.
10.30am a Pontificial Mass led by Mgr Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo, together with the priests from the Diocese of Gozo. At the end of the pontificial mass, the Te Deum will be sung to thank God for the priveledges that Our Lady placed upon our islands. The choir ‘Schola Cantorum Jubilate’ will animate the celebration.
1.00pm – 4.30pm – Silent Adoration in the chapel of Our Lady.
7.00pm – National Pilgrimage led by H.E. Mgr Paul Cremona O.P., Archbishop of Malta together with H.E. Mgr Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo. This will be organised with the collaboration of Radio RTK.
7.30pm – Pontificial Celebration of the Church Parvis led by the Archbishop of Malta together with the Nunctio Mgr Tommaso Caputa, the Bishop of Gozo, the Maltese Bishops, priests and religious persons. The choir ‘Stella Maris’ under the direction of Mro. Carmel Grech will animate the celebration.
