San Lawrenz Local Council dedicated yesterday, the 13th of June, as a ‘Day for the World.’ Amongst the activities organised during the day was the donation of an energy-saving light bulb to every household in the locality.
The Parliamentary Secretary for Public Dialogue and Information, Chris Said, gave out prizes to winners of the competition for objects made from re-cycled material as part of the Day for the World Campaign organised by the San Lawrenz Local Council.
The locality was also visited by the Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono and the Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs, George Pullicino.
